At AI Literacy for Multidisciplinary Professional Readiness and Outreach (“AIM-PRO”) Consortium, we are committed to protecting your data and your privacy. As part of this effort, we process personal data in accordance with the current EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This privacy policy is intended to inform you, in a transparent manner, about the data we collect, the purpose for collecting it, the way we use it, and the rights you have regarding the processing of such data.

We collect and process your data to support the implementation and objectives of the AIM-PRO Erasmus+ Project, in line with its defined purpose and work plan..

  • Project Services and Communication: To provide you with information related to the AIM-PRO Erasmus+ project, including updates on project activities, results, opportunities, and events.
  • Legitimate Interest: We only use your data in ways you would reasonably expect, proportionate to our legitimate interests, balancing them against your individual rights and freedoms.

3. What Data Do We Collect?

We strive to collect as little personal data as we need to further our intended purpose and activities. We collect:

  • Identifying information: Surname, first name, function, organization or institution, e-mail address, and postal address.
  • Communications: By email or other correspondence.

4. How Do We Collect Your Data?

  • Direct Interaction: Most of your data is communicated to us by your active intervention (e.g., when you subscribe to the AIM-PRO quarterly newsletter).
  • Third Parties: When we obtain personal data from third parties, we always process and treat your data in accordance with this Policy and the current EU Regulation.

5. How Do We Store Your Data?

  • Access: The AIM-PRO Consortium maintains databases containing participant information. Access to these databases is restricted to authorized staff members of the consortium and project partners involved in the implementation of the project, and the data is used exclusively for purposes related to the project’s activities.
  • Retention: We keep your data only for the time necessary to accomplish the “Intended purpose and activities” of the AIM-PRO Erasmus+ Project.
  • Security: All members of AIM-PRO Consortium are made aware of security procedures. AIM-PRO Data Controller ensures appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect against loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, or improper disclosure.

6. Data Sharing

Your personal data is not shared outside the AIM-PRO Consortium and associated partners, except where required for reporting and verification purposes to funding bodies. Where such reporting is required, data may be shared only within Europe, including Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure that your data is used solely for the agreed project-related purposes.
