Project Summary
In the era of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping societies and economies, presenting both opportunities and challenges for education and professional training. As AI literacy becomes a fundamental competency across sectors, it is crucial to empower individuals—whether in higher education, vocational training, or the workforce—with the knowledge and skills to critically engage with AI technologies.
AIM-PRO (AI Literacy for Multidisciplinary Professional Readiness and Outreach) seeks to bridge this gap by developing innovative, multidisciplinary educational frameworks that integrate AI literacy with Open Education, Generative AI, Model-Driven Engineering and Digital Twin technologies.
AIM-PRO equips educators, learners, and professionals with digital, green, and resilience skills, promoting the responsible use of AI. By focusing on AI literacy, sustainable innovation, and the intersection of AI with entrepreneurial competencies, the project aims to co-develop AI literacy resources tailored to the needs of higher education institutions, VET providers, and SMEs.
Specific Objectives
Identify Dimensions
Identify the main dimensions characterizing green and personalized learning scenarios in the context of AI literacy.
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage HE, VET, Companies and Pedagogical experts in the co-design and evaluation of the AIM-PRO foundational framework.
Open Resources
Offer VET, SME and HE providers access to a database containing OERs on AI literacy along with AI-based tools for effective reuse.
Validation
Collect, generate and validate the AIM-PRO OERs in the context of AI literacy.
Tools for Educators
Equip educators with digital tools for designing learning scenarios tailored to AI literacy.
Tools for Learners
Equip learners with digital tools for accessing personalized learning scenarios tailored to AI literacy.
Pedagogical Framework
Implement and validate a pedagogical framework that integrates AI technologies and competencies.
Certification
Develop and implement a certification strategy to assess and verify learners’ achievements in AI literacy.
Resource Implementation
Implement AIM-PRO resources, including content and digital tools, to support educational activities focused on AI literacy, digital transformation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
Evaluation
Engage companies, educators and learners in evaluation of AIM-PRO tools and learning scenarios.
Replication
Provide resources for replicating AIM-PRO implementation approach and resources.
